The Thematic Peer Group C on Quality Assurance was established with the aim of fostering peer support among countries. Therefore, a European project has been created to facilitate and finance a system of staff mobility across Europe. 

Second Call for applications - Peer Support on Quality Assurance in Higher Education: Staff Mobility (deadline 29 November 2019) 

The Thematic Peer Group C on Quality Assurance was established with the aim of fostering peer support among countries. Accordingly, a European project was created to facilitate and finance a system of staff mobility across Europe with the aim of sharing expertise from this field. After a very successful first call, and numerous enquiries for further possibilities for staff mobilities, the BPSG on QA is pleased to announce a second call for this project.

Through a system of mobility of staff members working in the field of quality assurance within national authorities (ministries), quality assurance agencies and/or stakeholder organizations, peer support can be facilitated. All flows and directions of staff mobility between ministries, QA-agencies and stakeholder organizations are possible. As such, the system supports the professional development of staff by offering a work placement in another country. Each mobile peer will further develop its QA competencies through job shadowing, observation periods and/or training at a partner QA agency/ministry/organisation abroad.

TPG C on QA Meetings

1. First Meeting of the TPG C on QA in Tbilisi (Georgia) on 3 - 4 December 2018

The members of the Thematic Peer Group met for the first time and discussed the work plan of each single country and the overall work plan of the group.

2. Second Meeting of the TPG C on QA in Limassol (Cyprus) on 27 - 28 May 2019

The members of this group met for the second time in Limassol in a two-day meeting, followed by a Peer Learning Activity. The countries that recently joined the group were informed about the outcomes of the first meeting and the work done since then. The countries presented their priorities and ideas as written in their own Action Plan. The matchmaking for the staff mobility project started.
