3rd meeting of Coordination Group on Global Policy Dialogue

The main aim of the meeting was to identify the key elements to prioritise for enhancing dialogue and cooperation at a global level on these topics. To this end, new regional and global developments in the field of recognition and QA will be presented to facilitate
discussion among relevant actors.
The CG on GPD meeting included two parts: on the first part of day 1, the meeting focused on structural and organisational matters, with the participation of the CG on GPD members. The first part of the meeting included discussions on the implementation of the CG on GPD Work Programme and next steps, including initial preparations for the Global Policy Forum and its statement, as well as the presentation of the supporting Erasmus+ project and input from other BFUG working structures.
The second part of the meeting, during the afternoon on day 1 and the entire day 2, was open to external partners and included presentations and a peer-learning activity on the recognition of qualifications and quality assurance from a global
perspective.
The CG on GPD meeting was organised in conjunction with the SPHERE Bologna Symposium and Annual Conference, organised by OBREAL and the European University Association at the National University of Science and Technology
POLITEHNICA Bucharest between the 1st to the 3rd of October. This allowed for the participation of external guests from EHEA neighboring countries in the CG on GPD meeting, as well as the participation of CG on GPD members to the SPHERE events.
