Erasmus Student Network (ESN) survey on "The Exchange Students' Rights"
The Erasmus Student Network Survey is the biggest regular European research project planned and carried out entirely by students for students. It is conducted annually and surveys students at higher education institutions. ESN shares the results with the main stakeholders in higher education and mobility programmes.
Erasmus Student Network is running a survey on students' rights in the frame of international exchanges. The survey will monitor the progress of the Bologna Process and all former exchange students are invited to express their opinion. The deadline for participation is 31 July 2006.
ESN is a network of 215 non profit student associations widespread in Europe and beyond. The mission of ESN is to foster student mobility in Higher Education under the principle of Students Helping Students.
The purpose of the survey, - which is taking place between May to July 2006- is to assess the problems faced by exchange students. A short questionnaire covers the study abroad experience, university quality and support, academic recognition, ECTS, discrimination, financial issues and others.
Through this year's edition of the survey ESN will be able to monitor the progress of the Bologna Process and see if the Erasmus Charter signed up to by universities is respected. Partners of the survey are already: Universita' Bocconi (main partner), ACA, UK Socrates Erasmus Council, CEEPUS, ESIB, AEGEE and Coimbra Group of Universities.
