Bologna Experts Seminar on Recognition in Higher Education

7-9 June 2010 – Bologna Experts’ Seminar on Recognition in HE (Tallinn)

The specific Aims and Objectives of this Seminar on ‘Recognition in Higher Education: How to make it work!’ are manifold:
The participants have familiarised with and learnt from the viewpoints of universities, students and the world of industry/business.The participants have actively taken part in discussion groups, which have focused on good practice in priority fields such as: Lisbon convention on recognition, ECTS, learning outcomes, diploma supplement, vertical mobility.
On a more general level:
The target public has been given the opportunity to engage in peer learning through a voluntary-based ‘buddy’ system.
The overall objective of the Tallinn seminar, along with the other project activities, was to further boost the ‘Community feeling’ among the participants.
